Low Carbon Business sponsored by
Environmental Skills Network
Organisations that have reduced the greenhouse gas emissions associated with their business, for example through energy efficiency, renewable energy, transport, supply chain management, etc.
Green Innovation sponsored by Community
Energy Plus
For organisations that have developed innovative or new products
or services that are of low environmental impact, for example buildings
or components hereof, retail goods, engineering products or components,
cleaning services, etc.
Waste Minimisation sponsored by BREW
Organisations that have reduced waste, for example by reducing, re-using and recycling their own waste, by creating markets for recycled or re-used materials as components, and by specifying re-useable and recyclable materials and components.
Best individual sponsored by The Energy &
Environment Group (Wardell
Armstrong International)
For employees who have made an outstanding contribution towards the company's sustainable work practices.
Sustainable Communities sponsored by Cornwall Council
For communities that have collaborated together to tackle an issue of local importance, for example, helping older people, younger people, tackling crime, fuel poverty, waste, climate change, reducing fossil fuel energy dependency, developing renewable energy, etc.
Overall Winner Award sponsored by
Business Link
Award given to the company that shows the most outstanding achievement in delivering sustainable outcomes. This award will be selected from the winners of the categories above.
